In respect of those fees and costs set by the Association, the Committee have determined that the following Small Claims Fees should apply with effect from 1 July 2008.

Paragraph 2(a)(b) – The basic fee payable to the arbitrator to be increased from £1,750.00 to £2,000.00.

Paragraph 3(a) - Additional fee payable to the arbitrator for a counterclaim which exceeds the amount of the claim to be increased from £1,000.00 to £1,250.00

Paragraph 2(b) – The administration fee payable to the LMAA to be increased from £125.00 to £150.00.

Paragraph 8 – The limitation on costs in favour of the successful party to be increased from £2,500.00 to £2,750.00 and where the counterclaim exceeds the amount of the claim to be increased from a maximum of £3,000.00 for claim and counterclaim to £3,250.00.

(VAT is payable in addition where appropriate)

The remaining fees etc. laid down by the Committee remain the same.
